This position is part of a 24/7 operation supporting a live, global network. The role is designed for a self-motivated individual driven to seek solutions to resolve monitoring errors through research and documentation. You will analyze and troubleshoot network circuits using router commands and diagnostic tools, utilizing network monitoring systems to track and resolve issues as they arise. The position requires creating and updating tickets via Remedy and escalating issues when necessary. Success in this role demands a general understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP, alongside expertise in various networking technologies including routers, switches, crypto devices, and optical switching.
