Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and mentor a small team of Trade Compliance Analysts
- check_circleOversee global import and export compliance operations
- check_circleSupervise classification processes for Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Harmonized System Codes
- check_circleReview and audit documentation for import/export shipments to ensure accuracy
- check_circleDevelop and monitor reporting metrics for internal audits and compliance visibility
- check_circleLead corrective action plans resulting from audits and compliance issues
- check_circlePartner with internal stakeholders to align compliance strategies with business objectives
- check_circleIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in International Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- verifiedCCS or CES certifications strongly preferred
- verifiedCustoms Broker License highly desired
- verifiedMinimum of 6-8+ years of experience in trade compliance, freight forwarding, ocean/air logistics, or international transportation
- verified0-3+ years leading and mentoring talent
- verifiedProficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel
- verifiedU.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, Refugee, Asylee, or eligible for export control license
Nice to Have
International specialization in degree. CCS or CES certifications. Customs Broker License. Power BI experience. Bi/multilingual abilities (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Dutch, French, or Spanish).
