Within this environment, the GAAP Financial Reporting and Consolidations team ensures accurate financial stewardship. This role leads a small team of 1-2 direct reports and operates as a hybrid position based at our headquarters in Wichita, KS.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee preparation and review of audited financial statements for consolidated results
- check_circleLead the month-end accounting close process ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- check_circleResearch and document US GAAP accounting positions and policies
- check_circleExecute and review transfer pricing treatment and tax reporting across legal entities
- check_circlePartner with business and tax accountants to advance accounting initiatives
- check_circleCoach and train team members to enhance skills and support career growth
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar field
- verifiedExperience in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or similar role
- verifiedExperience using Microsoft Excel
- verifiedNot eligible for visa sponsorship
Nice to Have
Experience leading a team, mentoring others, or leading projects and initiatives. Experience with US GAAP accounting. Experience leading transformation, automating processes, or eliminating waste. Experience using business analysis and data visualization tools (Access, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.). Integrated financial system experience including large ERPs (FSM, SAP, Oracle).
