As a Tractor Technician II within the Maintenance department, you will perform intermediate-level maintenance, service, and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment. Operating under routine supervision, your primary mission is to troubleshoot issues, complete all fleet maintenance processes, and ensure that all units consistently meet J.B. Hunt specifications.
This role is dynamic and requires adaptability. You may work outdoors in various weather conditions and across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, with the possibility of overtime. Full-time attendance is required to keep the fleet moving efficiently.
You will be part of a team dedicated to the reliability of the transportation network. In this position, you may assist with the onboarding and mentoring of new Tractor Technician trainees and participate in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) training for OE repairs. Success in this role involves maintaining professional communication with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers while adhering to strict shop safety procedures.
