About the Role
As a Tire Technician, you will be the backbone of our shop, ensuring that every vehicle leaves our facility safe and ready for the road. In this on-site role, you will mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer care. Your day will involve operating specialized shop equipment, performing essential vehicle inspections, and collaborating with teammates to meet productivity goals. Beyond the technical work, you will be the friendly face of the company, explaining service details to customers and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSafely mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks
- check_circleInspect tires, wheels, and basic vehicle components for wear, damage, and safety issues
- check_circleOperate tire changers, balancers, lifts, and related shop equipment according to safety standards
- check_circleMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA guidelines
- check_circleProvide friendly, respectful customer service and explain basic tire and service information
- check_circleFollow all Discount Tire procedures, including torque specs and quality checks
- check_circleAssist with inventory handling, stocking, and movement of tires and wheels
- check_circleCollaborate with team members to meet productivity and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
