As an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist, you will be a vital partner in supporting the earliest stages of human development. In this role, you will develop deep therapeutic relationships with families and their very young children, assessing needs and monitoring development through specialized assessments. Your work will involve providing parent-child psychotherapy and play therapy, offering crisis intervention, and equipping parents with education and resources to support their child's growth.
You will serve as an advocate for children and families, helping to identify and eliminate barriers to services while coordinating care with other professionals. This position requires building collaborative relationships within the community and representing The Guidance Center with integrity. You will participate in reflective supervision and case consultations to ensure high-quality, ethical care, maintaining complete and timely clinical documentation while adhering to a professional code of ethics.
