The Area Chief of Staff serves as a pivotal leader within our veterinary network, responsible for managing and developing associate veterinarians across assigned hospitals. This role is unique in that it combines high-level leadership with hands-on clinical practice. You will drive the culture of quality care, ensuring that every pet receives treatment that aligns with our six domains: safe, effective, patient/client-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
As a working manager, you will partner closely with Practice Managers to foster an inclusive, collaborative environment. Your day-to-day involves validating clinical skills through audits and medical record reviews, overseeing coaching programs for new veterinarians, and actively recruiting top talent. You will champion a "say yes" culture, ensuring access to care and superior client service while managing medical equipment and compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires a balance of strategic oversight and direct patient care, with the clinical time allocation determined by the specific needs of your assigned hospitals.
