The Therapeutic Youth Mentor at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch serves as a vital role model, providing direct support, guidance, and mentoring to help youth develop coping skills, improve communication, and build positive relationships. This position is designed to facilitate activities and work collaboratively with a diverse team to assist youth in reaching their personal goals.
Mentors are expected to exercise sound judgment and professionalism, particularly in crisis situations, while creatively finding solutions to complex needs. The role requires the ability to work both independently with youth one-on-one and as part of a cohesive treatment team that includes supervisors, educators, community partners, and families.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 is a plus, as the role involves maintaining accurate documentation in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
