About the Team

EAC Network is a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC. We champion equity, justice, and belonging, fostering a workplace where every voice is valued and empowered. Our commitment to wellness earned us the 2024 Gold Healthy Workforce Designation from Cigna, and we offer a supportive environment committed to your well-being and growth.

About the Role

Join our team as a Therapeutic Visit Specialist within the Suffolk Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Program. This role is designed for those passionate about supporting families and making a real difference in their lives. You will provide therapeutic supervised visitation for families referred by the court, utilizing independent discretion and judgment to facilitate healing conversations.

Your work will focus on how parenting impacts the parent-child bond, fostering parent attunement to a child's emotional experiences, and assisting families in transitioning from supervised visitation to reunification or unsupervised visitation when appropriate. You will also help families connect with local resources for basic needs. The position involves a mix of office-based and community-based visits, with the main office located at 3555 Vets Hwy, Suite B in Ronkonkoma, NY. While the role is mostly remote, visits take place in the community, and a valid driver's license is required.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates should apply directly through our career portal. The interview process typically includes a review of qualifications, followed by a conversation with the Program Director to discuss experience with court systems and family dynamics. We look for professionals who can handle volatile situations independently and collaborate effectively with other agencies.

Equal Opportunity

EAC Network is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
