About the Role
We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our team on-site in Round Lake, IL, for a 6-month contract. This role is critical for validating the reliability and compliance of medical device systems within a regulated environment. You will focus on executing interoperability test cases to ensure accurate data exchange, seamless integration workflows, and conformance to healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE profiles.
In this position, you will work hands-on to confirm device-to-system and system-to-system data exchanges. Your day will involve configuring test tools and simulators to emulate complex interoperability scenarios, identifying defects, and documenting detailed logs for root cause analysis. You will play a key part in maintaining audit readiness by ensuring all test execution records are accurate, traceable, and properly reported.
