As a Territory Sales and Service Representative in Scottsdale, Arizona, you will serve as the face of Ecolab, managing your territory to help protect the world's most vital resources. You will be responsible for servicing laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems, while selling new solutions to help achieve a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment for all.
This is a field-based position where you will manage your monthly schedule independently. You will leverage tools and technology to conduct customer visits, recommend unique programs, and communicate total value to grow sales within existing accounts. Your day will involve using problem-solving skills for preventative and corrective maintenance, providing emergency service as needed, and assisting with equipment installation. You will also manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs.
Ecolab offers an award-winning paid training program at our state-of-the-art facility in Eagan, Minnesota. This 12-week program utilizes a blended approach incorporating digital learning, classroom training, live demonstrations, and on-the-job training with field professionals. Two weeks of this training are conducted at the corporate headquarters, with Ecolab arranging and paying for travel and related expenses. The remaining weeks are spent in-field training. Upon completion, you will manage, service, and sell to established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities within your assigned territory. In cases where a territory is not immediately available, associates may be assigned a supporting role until one becomes available.
This role generally requires a weekend rotation of 1 in 6 weekends, based on business demand. You must be available to work overnight shifts and provide emergency assistance, which may occur at night, on weekends, and over holidays. You will be provided with a company service vehicle and cell phone for business use, with fuel, drive time to customer sites, and maintenance time covered by the company.
Applicants for this customer-facing role may need to undergo additional background screens and/or drug/alcohol testing for customer credentialing. Additionally, applicants may be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster if eligible, unless a religious or medical accommodation is requested and approved.
