The College of Science and Technology (CST) at Temple University hosts over 45 baccalaureate degree programs, numerous minors, and certificate programs spanning science, mathematics, technology, and education. The college comprises six academic departments: Biology, Chemistry, Computer & Information Sciences, Earth & Environmental Science, Mathematics, and Physics. The Physics Department invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor in Theoretical Nuclear Physics, with an expected start date of September 1, 2024. This position is initially funded in part by the DOE Topical Collaboration on Quark-Gluon Tomography and potentially by the RIKEN BNL Research Center. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct excellent research and demonstrate promise for high-quality physics teaching within the department.
