About the Role
This temporary part-time Front Desk position is located at the New Bolton Center's Large Animal Hospital in Kennett Square, PA. The role is integral to the School of Veterinary Medicine, providing exceptional customer service to both external and internal clients. The front desk operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
The nature of this work requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a knowledge of Equine, Bovine, and Small Ruminant husbandry. You will serve as the first point of contact, greeting and interacting professionally with owners, shippers, trainers, clinicians, and department staff. The role involves conveying complex information regarding incoming or discharging patients, including emergencies, and facilitating efficient patient movements through the hospital.
