About the Role
This position serves as a critical operational hub within the branch, responsible for implementing policies and systems that govern cashiering operations and customer service. The role ensures the smooth flow of teller lines, adequate window coverage, and the professional training of staff. You will oversee the provision of a full range of services to customers and prospective clients, ensuring they are served promptly and professionally.
In this capacity, you will assume responsibility for efficient teller operations, coordinating workflow and assisting tellers with complex transactions and sensitive customer relations. You will act as a problem solver, investigating out-of-balance conditions and ensuring all security procedures and balancing protocols are strictly followed. Beyond operations, the role involves actively cross-selling bank products, maintaining the bank's professional reputation, and ensuring the privacy of customer account information.
As a leader within the branch, you will supervise area personnel, providing instruction on policy, procedure, and sales culture. You will track employee progress, assist with performance appraisals, and assume the management role in the absence of the lobby manager. Effective communication with branch and area personnel is essential, as you will keep management informed of activities and significant problems while coordinating duties with related functions.
