As a key member of the Hospital and MEDNET Answering Service team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for over 250-350 daily calls. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of hospital communications, requiring you to dispatch calls with efficiency while demonstrating genuine empathy for patients, visitors, and staff.
You will operate in a fast-paced environment where calmness under pressure is essential. Your day involves greeting visitors professionally, managing emergency dispatches (including codes and elevator alarms) within a single ring, and coordinating with the Fire Department and 800 MHz radio systems. Beyond call handling, you will manage A/V equipment distribution, assist with pager logistics, and maintain meticulous quality records in collaboration with clients.
