As a Telecommunication GIS Analyst, you will be the bridge between field conditions and our digital data models. Your work ensures that the technical data used for reports, maps, and sketches accurately reflects the physical reality of our assets. You will manage the lifecycle of material and property equipment records, integrating geographic, cartographic, and remote sensing concepts to support resource data management.
In this position, you will collaborate with technical staff to resolve software discrepancies and provide critical input for problem resolution. You will utilize Windows-based systems, GPS technology, and cartographic data translation software to develop, manipulate, and edit vector and raster data sets. Your expertise will help drive improvements in how we visualize and manage our geospatial data, ensuring our systems respond effectively to suggestions for enhancements.

GE Smallworld experience, understanding of database development concepts, understanding of analysis of geospatial data, experience with handling KMZ or KML files or working knowledge with open source GIS solutions, basic understanding of Python, SQL, or other scripting language and web application configuration, ability to work/travel outside of normal business hours
