As a Telecommunication GIS Analyst, you will be the bridge between field conditions and our digital data models. Your primary mission is to ensure that our technical data, maps, and sketches accurately reflect the physical reality of our assets. You will work at the intersection of geospatial technology and telecommunications, utilizing GPS concepts, remote sensing, and cartographic principles to manage resource data.
In this on-site role, you will collaborate with technical staff and other organizations to resolve discrepancies and enhance our database models. Your day-to-day involves creating and maintaining material and property equipment records, integrating vector and raster data sets, and utilizing specialized software to translate cartographic data. You will also assist in software maintenance, providing critical input to problem resolution and ensuring our systems support the evolving needs of the business.
