About the Role

This position focuses on machine construction technology solutions, performing service repairs and preventive maintenance while representing Altorfer's professional image. You will be the face of the company at customer jobsites, in the shop, and while traveling between locations.

Your day will involve installing, calibrating, and repairing Caterpillar factory-integrated solutions (such as Grade, Payload, and Command) as well as aftermarket technology solutions from partners like SITECH Midway and Trimble. You will utilize advanced equipment including GPS base & rover, Universal Total Stations, and grade lasers to ensure precision in your work. The role requires you to troubleshoot complex machine and technology issues, manage parts logistics to minimize downtime, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and a strong work ethic.
