About the Role
The Technician plays a vital role in our Processing Facilities, responsible for the handling, consolidation, and processing of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. This position requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency within a team environment. While the tasks are moderately labor-intensive and repetitive, they are essential to maintaining our commitment to sustainable waste management.
In this role, you will operate industrial machinery, including oil filter crushing machines, and assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers using lift gates and forklifts. You will ensure that incoming waste conforms to acceptance protocols and that all processing occurs in a timely and safe manner. Beyond the physical work, you will be expected to complete necessary paperwork, conduct job hazard risk assessments, and promote a safety culture among all employees.
