As an Aircraft Mechanic at V2X, you will be the guardian of flight safety, troubleshooting and repairing complex systems across the aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, engines, and auxiliary power units. Your work ensures that aircraft remain in safe operating conditions amidst a dynamic operational environment. This role is critical to maintaining the readiness of a diverse fleet, including the AT-6, C-12, F/A-18, F-35, and T-38C.
You will apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting blueprints and manufacturers' manuals. From removing and reassembling engines to adjusting electrical wiring systems, your day-to-day involves restoring equipment to optimal condition. While you will receive technical guidance from supervisors, you may occasionally lead teams through complex tasks, supervise aircraft jacking and towing, and specialize in structural or engine repairs. Your ability to prioritize workload ensures that schedules are met even when responding to extreme weather conditions or rudimentary infrastructure.
V2X is committed to providing market-competitive total reward offerings. We value the dedication of our technicians and strive to support their professional growth through learning resources, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs. Our culture emphasizes safety, precision, and the successful execution of mission-critical maintenance tasks.
Candidates must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and a government flight line driver's license. The selection process evaluates your technical proficiency, experience with specific aircraft models, and ability to work in demanding environments. Please contact a recruiter for additional details regarding the application timeline and specific requirements.
