Since 2003, Hydromax USA has led the way in advanced field services and solutions within the rapidly expanding utility industry. Our mission is to enhance the safety, sustainability, and reliability of the nation's energy assets and natural resources. We empower utilities to maximize their infrastructure investments by creating a digital environment that modernizes and improves operations.
At Hydromax USA, you will work alongside smart, passionate people to solve complex problems using innovative solutions. Together, we are dedicated to making the world a better place by understanding the present and protecting the future.
As a Crossbore Technician, you will support the operation of advanced robotic CCTV inspection systems and specialized field equipment used to identify and prevent underground utility cross bores—hazardous intersections between utility lines. This critical work plays a key role in protecting public safety and maintaining the integrity of essential infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Field Operations Manager, you will work under the guidance of experienced field personnel to gain valuable hands-on experience while developing in-demand technical skills. This entry-level field role offers a strong opportunity for career growth within the utility industry. Motivated technicians often move quickly into crew lead roles and beyond.
This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. You should expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions, adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.
Hydromax USA provides necessary PPE, including rain jackets, hard hats, sun wear, and appropriate footwear, to safely navigate these environmental challenges. Work will not occur in unsafe environments, and all employees may exercise their Stop Work Obligation at any time.
Interested candidates should contact us at recruiting@hydromaxusa.com with any questions. New hires are required to comply with Hydromax USA's vaccination safety program due to potential exposure-related health risks.
