About the Role

The Construction Technician – Pipeline Rehabilitation is a field-based role designed for experienced professionals with a valid CDL license. You will be the backbone of our CIPP pipelining and inspection operations, working on a wide range of services including pipeline cleaning, CCTV inspections utilizing robotic cameras, manhole rehabilitation, and grouting.

This position offers a dynamic day-to-day where you will operate CDL-required Jet (flusher) or Jet Vac Combination Trucks, manage equipment cleanliness, and perform daily pre-trip inspections. You will work closely with a team to execute complex rehabilitation projects, often requiring you to enter manholes and work in confined spaces. The role is physically active, involving the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools in outdoor environments with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.

Travel and Lifestyle

A significant portion of this role involves travel, with approximately 70% of projects located out of town. Technicians can expect to travel weekly throughout the New England territory, often requiring overnight lodging away from home for 1 to 5 consecutive days. Inland Waters ensures that all travel expenses are covered, including daily per diems and 100% paid individual hotel room stays. The company also provides all necessary PPE, boots, and safety gear.

Hiring Process and Application

To apply, candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report and a Class A or B CDL. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training for new hires, ensuring you are fully equipped to succeed in the field.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, with reduced amounts available for those without a current CDL license.
