Since 2003, Hydromax USA has led the way in advanced field services and solutions within the rapidly expanding utility industry. Our mission is to enhance the safety, sustainability, and reliability of the nation's energy assets and natural resources. We empower utilities to maximize their infrastructure investments by creating a digital environment that modernizes and improves operations.
At Hydromax USA, you will work alongside smart, passionate people to solve complex problems using innovative solutions. Together, we are dedicated to making the world a better place by understanding the present and protecting the future.
As a Crossbore Technician, you will play a critical role in protecting public safety and maintaining the integrity of essential infrastructure. You will learn to support the operation of advanced robotic CCTV inspection systems and specialized field equipment used to identify and prevent underground utility cross bores—hazardous intersections between utility lines.
Working under the guidance of experienced field personnel and reporting directly to the Field Operations Manager, this entry-level field role offers valuable hands-on experience while developing in-demand technical skills. This position is designed for motivated individuals seeking a strong opportunity for career growth within the utility industry. Technicians who excel often move quickly into crew lead roles and beyond.
This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and remain aware of roadside hazards. Sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions, requiring adaptation to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.
Safety is paramount; PPE such as rain jackets, hard hats, sun wear, and appropriate footwear will be provided to safely navigate these environmental challenges. Work will not occur in unsafe environments, and all employees maintain the right to exercise a Stop Work Obligation at any time.
