About the Position
Weatherby Healthcare offers a custom career plan for physicians, with multiple positions available immediately. This role is based in Honolulu, HI, and is designed for a Doctor of Medicine specializing in General/Other Surgery.
The position requires a minimum 3-month commitment with a schedule consisting of two days per week in the clinic and one day per week in surgery. The expected case volume is 10 to 12 cases per month, focusing on general thoracic and esophageal oncology. The team provides robust support from physician assistants and hospitalists. Surgeons will share call duties with cardiac surgery for thoracic coverage.
Candidates must possess advanced VATS and robotic surgery skills, along with 2 to 5 years of post-training experience. Weatherby Healthcare provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and competitive weekly compensation. Assignment details and time entry are managed through an online portal, and candidates have 24-hour access to their Weatherby Healthcare consultant. Weatherby Healthcare is a charter member of NALTO.
