About the Role

SUNY Upstate Medical University seeks an OBGYN Generalist to join its collegial, well-supported team as an Assistant Professor. This balanced role is designed for early-career physicians building their clinical foundation, offering structured academic time, leadership potential, and significant clinical impact. You will practice in a blend of OB and GYN across hospital and outpatient sites, with opportunities to participate in labor and delivery, surgery, or resident clinics based on your interests and service needs.

The position features a low administrative burden, allowing you to focus on patient-centered care and professional growth. You will work alongside a robust support team, including 15 Advanced Practice Providers, 20 residents, 2 MFM fellows, and rotating medical students. The role utilizes advanced tools such as robotic surgery, lasers, and in-office procedural resources. Additionally, you will enjoy a manageable call schedule with post-call days off and no after-hours return, alongside structured academic time for grand rounds, lectures, and mentorship.
