We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support high-visibility FAA modernization programs. In this role, you will develop clear, accurate, and compliant technical documentation that enables engineers, operators, and stakeholders to confidently work with mission-critical aviation systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and program managers to translate complex technical information into accessible documentation that supports safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the NAS.

Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience. Familiarity with FAA modernization initiatives, NextGen, or National Airspace System (NAS) environments. Experience documenting complex systems, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, or software-intensive programs. Knowledge of NIST frameworks, cybersecurity documentation, or system certification processes. Experience using documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, SharePoint, or XML-based authoring tools. Exposure to agile or DevSecOps environments. Experience supporting audits, readiness reviews, or compliance documentation. Professional certifications such as Certified Technical Communicator (CTC) or equivalent credentials.
