The Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program supports our intelligence customer across numerous operating locations. Our focus encompasses the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement of the customer's infrastructure, including technology modernization, tech refresh, and activities associated with local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WAN), and unified communication (UC) services.
As a Technical Writer within this mission-critical environment, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and clear, actionable documentation. You will collect and interpret customer tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to create a wide array of user documentation, ranging from how-to guides and cheat sheets to detailed manuals and instructions. Your work will extend to writing and editing technical documentation for all project hardware and software, including installation and configuration guides, as well as producing code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user guides for new capabilities.
Beyond drafting, you will serve as a vital communication link. You will explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language, working directly with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications. You will collaborate with developer teams to design developer-oriented documentation and support the engineering team with artifacts for system components. Your role requires distilling complex information into clear, concise text and formatting technical publications from pamphlets and technical drawings in consultation with technical personnel.
