In this position, you will serve as a strategic partner in building robust talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles, with a specific focus on positions requiring security clearances or specialized IT skills. You will operate independently under general supervision, setting objectives to meet project goals while identifying and solving operational challenges within the job function.
Your day-to-day involves engaging passive candidates through diverse channels—including email, phone, text, and social media—to gauge interest and qualify talent for open roles. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with department-specific needs, ensuring that the pipelines you develop directly support organizational goals. By conducting initial screening calls and maintaining accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, you will help enhance the overall effectiveness of the recruitment process.
A key part of your mission is to position Maximus as a preeminent employer in the government contracting space. You will build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, recruiters, and stakeholders, influencing decisions at an operational level to drive hiring success. Additionally, you will ensure strict adherence to OFCCP, EEO, and affirmative action guidelines, applying these regulations to all sourcing and screening activities.
Maximus is committed to a fair and accessible employment process. If you require reasonable accommodations at any stage of the employment process—including accessing job postings, completing assessments, or participating in interviews—due to a disability, medical condition, or physical or mental impairment, please contact People Operations at applicantaccom@maximus.com.
Maximus is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and other legally protected characteristics.
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel, external market conditions, and internal value analysis. Annual salary is just one component of our total compensation package, which may also include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards.
We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
