About the Role
Maximus is seeking a Technical Recruiting Specialist to partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and leadership in defining role requirements and developing targeted sourcing strategies. This position focuses heavily on engaging passive technical talent across our federal civilian, health, and defense markets. The role is designed to manage end-to-end sourcing and recruiting activities, leveraging advanced tools, data, and pipelines to meet both funded and proposal staffing needs.
As a remote team member, you will play a critical part in building quality pipelines of passive and active talent to support our corporate and market segments. Your work will ensure timely, high-quality hires by managing sourcing projects from conception to completion and continuously improving sourcing processes to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePartner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements and build accurate candidate profiles
- check_circleManage end-to-end recruiting activities including candidate identification, screening, and interview coordination
- check_circleBuild and maintain quality pipelines of passive and active candidates to support funded and proposal staffing needs
- check_circleAssist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new sourcing tools and procedures
- check_circleManage sourcing projects from conception to completion to ensure all priorities and goals are achieved
- check_circleTrack recruiting activities and metrics to ensure compliance with hiring regulations including OFCCP
- check_circleDevelop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for passive technical talent across federal and defense markets
- check_circleWrite job advertisements, screen candidates, perform reference checks, and utilize the applicant tracking system
