Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Virginia, ATA is a leading provider of full-stack data and AI solutions with deep mission experience supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, the Intelligence Community, and federal agencies. We specialize in secure, scalable, and operationally ready technologies that transform data into actionable insight. With a proven track record in advanced analytics, software development, and technology integration, ATA leverages powerful contracting options to deliver cutting-edge, automation-enhanced, and AI-assisted capabilities tailored to mission assurance imperatives. Our diversity of infrastructure, data, and application experience sets us apart in the federal landscape.
As a Technical Project Manager in our Aviation division, you will support critical programs by providing full-lifecycle project management, technical leadership, and decision-oriented recommendations. Unlike administrative project roles, this position demands strong technical acumen to guide teams through complex engineering and system challenges within a federal aviation environment. You will operate within a structured program framework to deliver mission-critical initiatives, working across multiple stakeholders to drive execution, ensure quality, and align technical solutions with program objectives.
Your day-to-day involves translating complex technical information into clear communications for leadership and non-technical stakeholders. You will facilitate Agile, hybrid, or traditional project execution methodologies as appropriate, ensuring engineering and development efforts align with project goals. This role requires the ability to think on your feet, solve problems quickly, and learn new subject areas on the fly while working in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible for a government security clearance. The interview process typically includes a review of qualifications, followed by discussions focused on technical leadership capabilities, stakeholder management, and cultural fit within our mission-driven team.
ATA is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
