About the Team

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in advanced technological and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. Our Connected Aviation - Air Traffic Solutions – Whole Life Engineering Department (ATS-WLE) supports globally deployed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and related systems, including STARS and WAAS. These systems provide vital safety-of-life air traffic management support for the FAA, the DoD, and international counterparts, enabling seamless control and navigation for civil and military aviation.

Joining this team of 50+ engineers is an opportunity to embark on a journey to redefine the future of aerospace technology. You will collaborate with a dedicated group representing several whole life engineering disciplines to innovate and explore what is possible for our valued customer community and user base.

About the Role

As a Technical Product Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in mastering and evolving technical training material development and instruction processes. You will design, develop, and deliver e-Learning and Instructor-Led training materials by synthesizing technical documentation, engineering specifications, and insights from subject matter experts.

Your day-to-day will involve creating comprehensive training plans, slide packages, student and instructor guides, and performance exams. You will work within a laboratory environment to verify procedures and training materials using hardware and software, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and effectiveness. This role requires regular updates to training materials and maintaining configuration management of source materials, all while fostering effective communication with team and program leads.
