Duracell is an iconic brand and the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance alkaline batteries, power cells, and rechargeables. We are the most trusted source of personal power, driven by a sustained commitment to innovation that produces more compact, powerful, and longer-lasting batteries.
As a Technical Operator, you will be the backbone of our production line, responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work under the coaching and direction of Team, Line, and Business Leaders to maintain the highest standards of operation.
Your day will involve actively managing the Critical Duracell Management System, including safety protocols, quality checks, and daily directional settings. You will maintain line appearance, track shift results, and ensure accurate completion of behavioral observation sheets and quality holds for nonconforming products. A key part of your role is understanding line results, such as downtime and process issues, while managing planned maintenance work and changeover processes.
You will operate machinery as needed, own the final confirmation of finished goods, and ensure production data is accurately entered into downtime tracking systems. Beyond daily operations, you will build mastery in operating responsibilities, reach consensus with Team Leaders on daily department plans, and play a key role in on-boarding and developing new technicians.
If you can imagine yourself in this role, we look forward to hearing from you. Duracell is committed to hiring incredible talent and offers competitive compensation packages and employee benefits.
Duracell respects and values the aspects that make each candidate unique. As an Equal Opportunity employer, we are committed to providing a work environment that is free of discrimination against employees and applicants on the basis of any factor prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.
