Technical Data Architect

About the Role

As a Technical Data Architect, you will serve as the strategic owner of the end-to-end solution architecture for our commercial capabilities. Operating within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment, this role is critical for bridging the gap between complex business needs in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Bid Management and the technical execution required to support them.

You will not only define the target architecture and reference patterns but also provide hands-on governance to ensure the high-quality delivery of data models and business intelligence applications. Your work will directly enable sales planning, forecasting, and decision support systems that drive our commercial success.

A Day in the Life

Your day will be a blend of strategic design and practical execution. You will evaluate commercial technology products to determine the best "build vs. buy" strategies, considering factors like scalability, security, and vendor roadmaps. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to designing and governing integrations across CRM, marketing platforms, and data ecosystems, ensuring robust API and event-based patterns are in place.

You will actively review technical artifacts, from high-level design documents to deployment architectures, providing actionable feedback to engineering teams. Beyond the code and diagrams, you will partner closely with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into prioritized, implementable technical roadmaps, ensuring that data governance and compliance standards are met throughout the lifecycle.
