The Sales & Marketing Technology Architect serves as the strategic owner of end-to-end solution architecture for commercial capabilities within a pharmaceutical environment. This role is critical for bridging the gap between complex business needs in Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Bid Management and the technical execution required to support them.
In this position, you will not only define target architectures and reference patterns but also provide hands-on governance to ensure high-quality delivery of data models and business intelligence applications. You will be responsible for evaluating and selecting technology products, designing scalable integration patterns, and reviewing technical artifacts to support sales planning, forecasting, and tender management.
Your work involves a dynamic mix of strategic planning and technical execution. You will partner closely with Sales Ops, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into prioritized, implementable technical roadmaps. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to designing and governing integrations across CRM, marketing platforms, and data platforms, ensuring robust API and event-based patterns that support resiliency and observability.
You will drive the creation of dimensional data models and semantic layers, guiding the design of BI applications that enable self-service analytics with proper governance. Beyond design, you will actively review technical artifacts such as architecture diagrams, HLD/LLD, and interface specs, providing actionable feedback to engineering teams. You will also establish standards for coding, CI/CD, and DevSecOps, while mentoring engineers and analysts to elevate the overall quality of design and implementation.
Candidates for this role will undergo a rigorous evaluation process designed to assess both architectural depth and industry-specific knowledge. The process typically includes:
