ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology. Since launching in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model, we have grown to serve millions of users and thousands of businesses, ranging from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Backed by prominent investors including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth, and Sequoia, we have raised $781M in funding with a valuation of $11B.
We have expanded from voice into three core platforms: ElevenAgents for scalable customer experiences, ElevenCreative for generating and editing multimedia across 70+ languages, and ElevenAPI providing developers access to our foundational AI audio models. Our team consists of researchers, engineers, and operators—ranging from IOI medalists to ex-founders—who are builders dedicated to creating lasting positive impact.
We operate with high velocity, utilizing rapid experimentation and lean autonomous teams with minimal bureaucracy. Our culture prioritizes impact over job titles; no task is considered above or beneath anyone. We are an AI-first organization, leveraging AI across engineering, growth, and operations to move faster with higher-quality results. Excellence is a standard everywhere, ensuring our work matches the quality of our AI models. As a global team, we prioritize talent over location.
ElevenLabs is building its Finance function from the ground up as we scale toward a public-company-ready accounting infrastructure. As a Technical Accountant, you will serve as the go-to resource for US GAAP guidance across the organization. Your mission involves researching complex standards, drafting technical memos, and helping the business navigate new transactions, structures, and reporting requirements with clarity and confidence.
This is a generalist technical accounting role covering equity, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, leases, and emerging product structures. You will work directly with the Financial Controller, Legal, FP&A, and external auditors. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-moving, pre-IPO or recently public environment and is ready to build the technical foundation that will carry ElevenLabs through its next stage of growth.
This role is remote-first and open to candidates physically based on the East Coast of the United States (ET timezone). While we are not currently considering applicants in other US timezones, you have the option to work from our New York office if preferred.
