Founded in 1895, Union Settlement is an East Harlem-based nonprofit organization and a pioneer of the settlement house movement. For over 128 years, we have provided critical and innovative programming to children, youth, families, and older adults. Today, our 33 program sites serve more than 10,000 individuals and nearly 1,000 businesses annually across eight core areas, including Early Childhood Education, Youth Services, and Family Services.
Strengthened by a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative workforce of over 350 employees, Union Settlement acts as a connector, convener, and advocate for the East Harlem community.
