About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Math Teacher for the 2026-27 school year to join our team. In this role, you will provide an effective program of instruction tailored to the unique needs and capabilities of your students. You will be responsible for building upon previously learned materials, implementing the district's written curriculum, and utilizing a variety of teaching techniques to ensure student success.
Your day will involve preparing for assigned classes, assessing student progress, and adapting instruction to support individual learning needs. You will collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and instructional goals, maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, and foster open communication with students, parents, and staff. A commitment to professional growth, including the adoption of new instructional and technology skills, is essential to this position.
Hiring Process
Candidates must hold a valid Kansas Teaching Certificate or License and meet "Highly qualified" status according to KSDE and federal regulations. While SPED and/or ESL endorsements are preferred, the Board may consider appropriate alternatives. Selected candidates will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policy on the Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
