About the Role
As a Grade 4 Teacher, you will help students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible individuals. You will plan a program of study tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of your students, creating a classroom environment conducive to learning.
Your day involves employing a variety of instructional techniques and media while striving to implement the district's philosophy of education. You will guide the learning process toward curriculum goals, assess student accomplishments regularly, and diagnose learning abilities as needed. Additionally, you will support and implement the CORE Literacy initiative and WOW (Working on the Works), while maintaining accurate records and ensuring the safety of students and facilities.
