As a Grade 3 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of young learners into mature, able, and responsible individuals. Your mission is to facilitate the acquisition of essential subject matter and skills while fostering a classroom environment that is both conducive to learning and responsive to the unique maturity and interests of each student.
In this position, you will guide the learning process toward the achievement of specific curriculum goals. You will design and implement a program of study that addresses individual student needs, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and media. Beyond academics, you will establish clear objectives for lessons and projects, ensuring students understand their learning targets. You will also actively support district initiatives, including the CORE Literacy program and Working on the Works (WOW), while maintaining a safe and orderly classroom through fair and just behavioral standards.
Candidates must possess a certificate, license, or other legal credential, along with a degree in their area of major study. The Board may also consider appropriate alternatives to these qualifications.
