As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of mature, able, and responsible individuals. Your mission is to help students master subject matter and skills that contribute to their holistic development. You will guide the learning process toward achieving curriculum goals, establishing clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects that are communicated directly to students.
In this position, you will create a classroom environment conducive to learning, tailored to the maturity and interests of your students. You will employ a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet individual needs, while also supporting district initiatives such as CORE Literacy and WOW (Working on the Works). Beyond the classroom, you will be available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside of instructional hours when required.
