About the Role

The Fairview Park City Schools is seeking a dynamic Boys/Girls Middle School Cross Country Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Based at Lewis F. Mayer Middle School, this position is vital to the district's commitment to student-athlete development and the growth of the 7-12 athletic program. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for the sport of Cross Country and a dedication to fostering a supportive, competitive environment for middle school students.

Qualifications & Certification

To ensure the safety and success of student-athletes, candidates must possess a Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit, Sports First Aid Training, CPR Certification, Concussion Certification, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course certification. Additionally, completion of the Fundamentals of Coaching Course is required. Successful applicants will demonstrate outstanding communication skills with student-athletes, parents, teachers, and fellow coaches, alongside a strong foundation in coaching principles.
