Join Dallas ISD as a dedicated educator committed to shaping the future of students. In this campus-based position, you will serve as a vital link between the district's curriculum goals and the diverse learning needs of your students. Your mission is to create an inclusive, motivating, and structured learning environment where every student can thrive.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program and Texas Education Agency guidelines. This role requires a dynamic approach to instruction, utilizing a variety of media and methods to accommodate different learning styles and keep students engaged. Beyond the classroom, you will act as a counselor and advocate, collaborating with professional staff to address student health, attitude, and learning challenges while maintaining open communication with parents and the community.
As a leader within the school, you will establish efficient classroom management procedures, set clear standards for pupil behavior, and coordinate the work of aides and paraprofessionals. You will also play an active role in the school community by interpreting educational programs through open houses and PTA meetings. Success in this role demands flexibility, a commitment to professional growth, and the ability to maintain accurate records of student progress and information.
This is a campus-based position requiring regular and punctual attendance at the worksite; remote work is not an option. The work environment typically features a moderate noise level, and travel throughout the district is an integral part of the daily duties. You will be expected to be available for counseling with students and parents before and after school hours.
Dallas ISD is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for our staff and students.
