Ready to take on meaningful challenges and shape the next generation of mobility? OPmobility, known until 2024 as Plastic Omnium, was founded in 1946 by Pierre Burelle and has transformed into a global leader in sustainable and connected mobility. With €11.5 billion in revenue, 152 factories, 40 R&D centers, and nearly 38,100 employees across 28 countries, we combine global scale with local impact.
Our purpose is to keep people and goods moving safely, smarter, and sustainably everywhere. We develop technological solutions across four key areas: exterior and lighting systems, complex module integration, energy storage and electrification technologies, and embedded software. Innovation is not just a buzzword at OPmobility; it is a natural part of everyday work where cutting-edge technologies and industrial excellence come together to tackle the challenges of tomorrow's automotive industry.
Reporting to the Global Finances Tax VP, this position leads regional tax strategy, compliance, and risk management for a global Tier 1 supplier. You will ensure adherence to U.S., Argentinian, Brazilian, Canadian, and Mexican tax requirements while aligning regional initiatives with global tax policy.
In this role, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Treasury to drive business value. Your day will involve advising leadership on legislative changes affecting the automotive industry, evaluating tax implications for new plant launches and expansions, and collaborating on cross-border supply chain flows. You will also work closely with R&D teams to maximize incentives for innovation and sustainability, while guiding HR on compensation and expatriate tax matters. This is a leadership opportunity to manage high-performing country tax teams and drive continuous improvement in tax processes and automation within a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
At OPmobility, people truly matter. We are committed to building inclusive teams, promoting diversity and equality, and ensuring that every application is considered fairly. We believe the future of mobility is built by diverse perspectives, bold ideas, and people who dare to move forward. You will grow in an international environment where real-world impact is the ultimate goal.
Please note that this role operates under TISAX confidentiality level [Level 2], requiring appropriate handling of sensitive information throughout the recruitment process. We look forward to reviewing your application and discussing how your experience aligns with our mission to accelerate the automotive energy transition.
