About the Role
Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated Tax Experts – Retail On-Site. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, an entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Tax Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."
In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location, playing a key part in growing TurboTax's client base within the local community. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to build a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community. You will serve customers both in-person and virtually, using your expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, advice, and software support. Your ability to connect with customers on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress often associated with tax preparation.
Community Impact
As a proactive community ambassador, you will enthusiastically represent TurboTax locally, serving as the public face of the brand. You will engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients through proactive outreach. You will also lead local events, participate in local marketing, and make the topic of taxes accessible and approachable for everyone.
Hiring Process
This is a seasonal position requiring onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. The role is nonexempt and requires a flexible schedule of 25–34 hours per week, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with the ability to increase hours during peak seasons.

Requirements
- verifiedActive EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
- verifiedActive Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- verifiedMinimum 3 years paid experience filing 50+ federal and state 1040 returns per season
- verifiedFamiliarity with Circular 230
- verifiedMust reside within the United States
- verifiedAbility to obtain required State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
Nice to Have
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
