We are seeking a Sales or Applications Engineer with a background in power electronics or industrial power systems to take full ownership of technical sales in a highly autonomous, customer-facing role. This position offers the flexibility of a home-based setup while allowing you to manage your own schedule and develop key client relationships across Ohio.
In this high-impact position, you will take full ownership of technical sales for complex AC/DC power systems, including SCR controllers, transformers, and integrated power solutions. You will work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and senior leadership teams to define customer solutions, develop tailored technical proposals, and convert opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.
The role requires a high degree of autonomy, with responsibility for managing your own pipeline, schedule, and customer base. You will engage in regular domestic and international travel (approximately 40%) to develop and win new business, serving as a technical authority for the company.
This role is ideal for a Power Electronics Engineer, Applications Engineer, or technically strong Sales Engineer with experience in industrial electrical power systems. We are looking for someone ready to step into a highly autonomous role with strong earning potential and long-term progression. A degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required, along with a strong understanding of AC/DC systems, HV power distribution, transformers, and power control equipment.
