About the Team
Open Systems Technologies Corporation (OST) has been operating since 1996, delivering specialized solutions to various government agencies. We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Mid) to join our high-performing cyber team, dedicated to supporting a large-scale SOC enterprise environment.
About the Role
This position is designed to provide top-level technical expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of client/server environments. You will supervise and coordinate the design, development, and implementation of network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. The role involves investigating, analyzing, and configuring new network hardware and software while ensuring the evaluation of system utilization and monitoring of response times.
In this day-to-day capacity, you will troubleshoot network issues at the physical and logical levels, working with network measurement hardware, software, and communication protocols. You will be responsible for systems management and integration, maintaining network infrastructure standards such as TCP/IP, and ensuring all systems are current with approved patches. Additionally, you will assist with certification and system accreditation tasks, compose Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and create Quick Reference guides for users.
