About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our growing Systems Engineering department in Simsbury, CT. As part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT), you will develop highly reliable systems and devices for our customers. Your role will focus on the assessment, development, derivation, and decomposition of requirements to meet stakeholder goals, internal needs, and industry limits.
Leveraging your background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, you will conceptualize and trade system architectures for products used in mission and safety-critical applications. By applying core Systems Engineering principles—such as maintaining a holistic view, technical influence, considering all interactions, focusing on the entire life cycle, and making decisions under uncertainty—you will drive the IPT toward the most appropriate solutions regarding technical, cost, and schedule factors.
You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the program IPT to develop risk mitigation plans that reduce uncertainty in meeting program deliverables. Additionally, you will create verification plans to ensure all associated interfaces and test tolerances are fully assessed, covering both electrical and mechanical aspects. This role reports to the Systems Engineering Lead or Manager and serves as a vital link in ensuring technical adherence and cross-functional collaboration throughout the program life cycle.

Requirements
