Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage avionics requirements using the DOORS database and change control processes
- check_circleImplement change management processes to control the program baseline
- check_circleResolve design and integration issues during technology adoption for various missions
- check_circleCoordinate design review milestone meetings including SRR, PDR, and CDR
- check_circleSupport program objectives by collaborating with key partners and verification teams
- check_circleDraft, review, and release requirements specification documents and verification baselines
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- verified1+ years of professional experience
- verifiedExperience in Systems Engineering or Project Engineering
- verifiedKnowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
- verifiedExperience with Avionics subsystems
- verifiedExperience with DOORS or similar requirements management tool
- verifiedExperience with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR)
Nice to Have
Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience performing specification/requirement development and documentation. Experience with program and design review process: System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Flight Readiness Review (FRR). DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication. Experience with Avionics subsystems (e.g. electrical power, command/data handling). Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker. Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members.
