Aerodyne Industries Careers is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team, where we support critical Defense & Aerospace projects. Our mission is to drive innovation in human spaceflight and related aerospace systems, ensuring that every component meets the rigorous demands of NASA and government missions.
In this fast-paced, mission-driven environment, you will lead systems engineering activities that span the entire lifecycle from requirements development to verification and validation. You will define system architectures, interfaces, and technical baselines for complex, mission-critical systems, performing modeling, analysis, and trade studies to support pivotal design decisions.
Your day will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and government customers to ensure mission, safety, and performance objectives are met. You will lead integration, verification, and validation planning for hardware and software systems, while preparing and maintaining technical documentation that adheres to NASA, DoD, and industry standards. Additionally, you will support design reviews, manage risks and configurations, and contribute to continuous process improvement in systems engineering practices.
Candidates must be eligible for a security clearance (Secret or higher) and meet ITAR/Export control eligibility requirements (U.S. person). The selection process evaluates technical expertise in systems engineering, proficiency with requirements management tools, and adherence to safety and mission assurance principles.
