Vision IT is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to support the AFSCI network at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) and its supported Geographically Separated Units (GSUs). This onsite position is designed for a motivated IT professional dedicated to ensuring the operational readiness and security of critical DoD enterprise environments.
In this role, you will serve as a key guardian of the AFSCI infrastructure, responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of systems across servers, workstations, and network equipment. Your day-to-day will involve executing precise maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, and implementing rigorous cybersecurity standards such as STIGs and RMF processes. You will work collaboratively with government personnel and external agencies to maintain 99.9% monthly availability, ensuring that mission-critical logistics systems remain accessible and compliant with Air Force enterprise architecture requirements.

DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification such as Security+, CASP+, or CISSP. Experience supporting Air Force or Space Force programs. Familiarity with ACAS, eMASS, SCCM, VMware, and enterprise monitoring tools. Knowledge of network infrastructure and routing/switching technologies.
